We are based in Adelaide, South Australia, where we develop do-it-yourself science and technology projects for teachers, students and experimenters.
We use recycled and other readily available materials in our projects, and we produce kits of components for the electronic assemblies used in the projects.
We document the theory underpinning our designs, linking the mathematics, science and technology involved.
We offer hands-on workshops at Aztronics in Adelaide, and provide training support to DECS and TAFESA.
RoHS compliance:
The printed circuit boards in our kits are RoHS compliant, with the following standard build:
- 1.6mm FR4 laminate with 35micron copper
- hot air solder levelled (lead free)
- green solder mask
- white component overlay
We are moving slowly toward full RoHS compliance in concert with our component suppliers.
