Electrostatic Sensor (kit ES-1)

Measures the voltage across statically charged objects

• -4 kV to +4 kV input voltage range


• draws 4nC maximum charge from devices under test, so can be used to measure the voltage across aluminium foil electroscopes and pie-dish capacitors


• -4 V to +4V output voltage range (1000:1 attenuation)


• displays output on any basic digital voltmeter


• add a simple disc 'top-hat' to create an electronic electroscope
